Our historic 4+ acre grounds include views of the beautiful, Charleston-style family farmhouse, surrounded by gardens and the early 20th century barn. The historic Shelton House grounds and barn provide an inviting venue for weddings, meetings and a wide variety of events.
The Shelton House Barn is a Pennsylvania Dutch Style Dairy Barn that W.T. Shelton had built in 1916. Originally, the barn was used to house milk cows and other livestock. The barn was later converted into meeting and display space for historical artifacts related to farming.
Southern hospitality meets rustic charm in this welcoming and laid back space. Ideal for intimate gatherings, the Historic Shelton House Barn promises happy get togethers that harken to a simpler time in this mountain Historic Site.

Linens are provided for a nominal fee. This includes a basic white cloth table linen with either a peach overlay or hunter green centerpiece napkin. Log cookies are provided for centerpiece pedestals, but centerpieces are to be arranged and provided by the guests.
