The Shelton House welcomes bus groups,tour groups, and school groups.  Large groups may be divided and scheduled for different time frames within the time limit determined. We limit the amount of guests allowed in the house at one time based on space requirements so that our guests may enjoy the tours. We can rotate groups into the museum, barn museum , gift shop, and on Saturdays to the Historic Haywood Farmers Market (all located on our property).  Our large parking lot can accommodate tour buses and vans of any size and multiple vehicles.  For guests with limited mobility, passengers can be dropped off at the doorstep with parking below.  Tours typically last 45 minutes to 1 hour and does require climbing stairs for the full tour.

Admission for individuals in groups of ten or more are $5 per person.  We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and checks and should be paid on the date of the tour.  To arrange a group tour, contact our Museum Director, Dannehl Strautz,  828-452-1551, or email info@sheltonhouse.org for scheduling reservations.
